How much does it cost to have a camera repaired ?

There is a diagnostic fee which will be applied towards the cost of the repair.
The repair cost depends on the make & model of the camera & what the problem is.

How do I ship my camera to you?

Pack your equipment in a sturdy box with at least 2-3 inches of packing around the equipment, be sure to put enough packing in so the equipment will not shift around in the box.
If you wish to send your equipment in its original box, put it inside a bigger box (The original box is not sturdy enough to ship equipment in).

Our Warranty is 6 months on most Equipment.
Our Warranty on Camcorders is 60 days

Why is there a diagnostic fee?

The diagnostic fee covers the time needed for the technician to troubleshoot and diagnose the problem, research the parts needed, and estimate the time needed to complete the repair.  The diagnostic fee is applied toward the completed repair.

How long does it take to repair my camera?

Estimates are generally made within 24 hours of receipt. Sometimes parts research may add a day or two. Most repairs are completed within a week of your estimate approval. Camcorders generally take a little longer. If your repair requires parts that we do not have in our large inventory, the repair time may be increased by a week or more. We will keep you informed of any delays. If you have a special need we will do everything possible to meet it.

Will you ship my camera away to be repaired?

Normally repairs are done right here in our shop.  In rare cases we may need to send your repair to the
original manufacturer to complete the repair due to the lack of parts availability, or proprietary programing.

How can I get my camera back faster?

•First, tell us your needs.
•Make sure your contact information is complete and accurate.
•Pre-approving the repair up to a reasonable amount can save several days.
•We do not charge extra for rush service, but if parts have to be ordered we have to pass along
  expedited shipping charges (usually $25.00 for next day, $15.00 for 2nd day).
•Request Next Day or 2nd Day return delivery.
•Include your credit card information with the three digit security number (on the back of the card).

Can you give me an estimate over the phone?

The simple answer is "no". There are many variables that affect the repair cost. One outward symptom may be caused by a multitude of internal problems. Even apparently simple repairs can be misleading. The only way we can accurately determine the cause of the problem and be fair to you, is to have the item in hand.
